"An explosion of colors is what I see, women at work, making, selling, being. My work takes you on an adventure primarily through botanical scenes and landscapes in Guatemala City, while introducing you to the women of Antigua, Guatemala. With this you will take some detours in Buenos Aires, NYC, and Washington DC. The cities and images are woven together by themes of ancient trees with sculptural limbs and strong roots. Local fruits and flowers are dusted on fabrics to tell a story… all of which appear throughout my work across different media."
